    In 2000 BC lots of different communities didn't like each other so there were lots of walls that blocked off different communities from each other. There was one community named Erlitou that had discovered how to mine bronze. Then from there they were considered China's first state.

    Qin Shihuangdi was the first Emperor and King of Qin in 246 BCE at the age of thirteen. He was a great general and defeated many armies and other states. In 221 BCE he rejoined all the states and declared that he would be the Emperor

    From the year 630, Tang rulers of China wanted to expand their dynasty onward into central Asia. But the Arabs also wanted Central Asia, so one day when the Tang were walking about they got attacked by the Arabs in Talas. The Arabs won and the Chinese never went back to Central Asia again.
