A former monk named Zhu Yuanzhang took charge of a rebel army. He then took over the Mongols. -

After the monk defeated the Mongols, he founded the Ming dynasty. It was considered the most stable, prospering times in China. -
Overthrow of the Ming
The Ming dynasty was overthrown and was to weak to fight back. It was weak to fight because of its isolationism. -

By the late 1800s, the Westerners developed new technologys. they were able to gain influence in Chinese affairs. -
Paper Invented
Paper was one of the best inventions the Chinese made.It gave Chinese an easy way to record events. -
Overthrow
A former Sui overthrew the old goverment of Sui. He then founded the Tang dynasty. -
Starting of the Grand Canal
When the Sui dynasty was made, Yang Jain started the Grand Canal. It linked northern and suouther China together, making a wide spread of trade. -

China was reunified once again and then came the Song dynasty. The Song dynasty was a great time of acomplishments. -

When the Tang dynasty fell, China then again fell in to chaos and disorder. China was split up so much, this time period was called Five Dynastys and Ten Kingdoms. -

At the end of the Age of Buddhism, a Tang emperor launched attacks on Buddhist temples, land, and also burned Buddhist texts. -

In this time, paper money was invented. Chinese were the first to make paper money. -
