The Quartering act is when they passed a law that colonists had to take care of the soldiers why the soldiers live in there house.Quartering act- This was Important because if the British could make the colonists pay for the soldiers then that saves them money. This was the start of all the acts. -
Stamp Act
The stamp act is where you had to get a stamp to get married and things. - The Stamp act made the colonists pay to get a stamp so that they could get married and get food and other things. -
Townshend act
The Townshend act is when the government taxed house holds items like paper, pencils, and candles.
Townshend act- This made the colonists pay tax on house hold items. They could afford it but they didn’t want to buy it because it helped the British. -
The Boston Masccacer
The Boston Massacre is when British soldiers shot into a crowd and killed innocent people.- This act made the colonists mad at the British and fight back harder. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston tea party was when a group dressed up as Native Americans and through barrels of tea in a harbor.This was a boycott against taxes on tea and other items.
