    Troops snap and kill 5 militiamen including an African-American man named Cripus Attucks.

    In response to the violence and the unresolved issue of the taxes, the Sons of Liberty, led by Paul Revere and Samuel Adams, dumped all tea that ships had brought, in to the Boston Harbor.
