Lexington And Concord
Lexington and Concord was the the spark of the revolutionary war. Still unknown who shot the first shot, (Shot heard around the world) but about 10 colonists were killed and around 8 injured. -
2nd Continental Congress
The 2nd Continental Congress controlled the colonies during the war. Sent the Olive Branch Petition to the king to restore harmony between the England and the Colonies but the king ignored it. -

Benjamin Franklin was able to get the French to aid the colonies. It was an unorganized turning point of the war. -

It was a bad time of war due to freezing temperatures and lack of food. There were a big amount of unlucky casualties. -
Battle of Yorktown
The Battle of Yorktown is the final battle where the colonists/Americans and the French forces defeated the British.
