  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    In March 4 1770, the Boston Massacre was a street fight between a "patriot" mob and british soldiers. The colonists were angry about being taxed and angry at the British occupation and took their anger out on the troops. They threw snowballs at the soldiers. The soldiers were not shooting but one soldier thought he heard a gunshot so he set fire and all the other soldiers starting shooting as well.
  • Boston Tea Party

    In December 16 1773 one of the most known acts in the American revolution happened. American colonists were upset at Britain for imposing “taxation without representation,” they decided to dress as Indians and snuck into Britain's boats and dumped out roughly 342 chests of tea equivalent to almost $1,000,000 in tea into Griffin's Wharf.

    On September 28, a battle between the British and the 13 American colonies known as "The Battle of Yorktown" broke out as the British would end the British rule in the colonies and begin the birth of a new nation.
  • Treaty of Paris Signed

    Treaty of Paris Signed
    On September 3rd 1783, the treat of Paris was signed by the British and the U.S. Represenetives ending the American Revolution War. Some of the things that the treaty of Paris did were, opened up the Mississippi River for navigation to the United States and Great Britain, resolved issues with American debts owed to British creditors, and made America its own independent state.

    On June 21 1788 The Constitution was approved an legalized in the united states. Delaware was the first state out of the 13 to ratify the constitution in December 7 1787. 9 out of the 13 states needed to ratify the constitution so that it could be operating. Only 8 states agreed and ratified the constitution until June 22 New Hampshire became the 9th state to ratify it and the constitution became operated through all 13 and current 50 states in the united states.
