"Give me liberty or give me death" was a quote from his speech that he made to second the Virginia Convention because the Americans were having to pay taxes without a say. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
These were the first two battles that started the Revolutionary war when the British had heard of a weapon stockpile in the american hands so the British went out to take the stockpile and ended up surrendering at Concord. -
The Battle of Ticonderoga
This was a battle that meant a lot since Fort Ticonderoga was a key point of access to both Canada and the Hudson River Valley. The Patriots attacked at dawn catching the British off guard and they won this battle. This gave the Patriots much needed artillery. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
In the early stages of the Revolution this was a battle that gave the Americans confidence of bringing freedom to America by a saying "don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes.Even though they lost many British soldiers had died. -
