    This was after the French and Indian war when the colonists were trying to go west onto the mountains and the Indians weren't happy about it so then Britain made a line that said that no colonist can go past it

    The colonist were mocking the british soldiers and were throwing stuff at them and suddenly someone said fire and the british thought it was their commander and fired upon the colonists and killed some of them.

    The British put a tax on all tea in the colonies

    The Boston Tea Party was when a group of patriots called the Sons and Daughters of Liberty protested the Tea Act by throwing crates of tea off of a British boat.

    Were 4 laws created by the British government in response to the Boston Tea Party. These laws were declared by the colonists as intolerable for a person to live.

    The British were sent by the king to collect the colonist's weapons. they first were attacked by the colonist but managed to beat them, then they continued and lost against the colonist because the colonist had way more people.

    The British and the colonists fought and the British won but at the cost of half their men.

    Common Sense was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine that was written to persuade people in the colonies that it just made sense to separate from England

    The Continental Congress came together for a second time and declared war against Britain.

    George Washington crossed the Delaware River and won against the Hessians and a week later won in Princeton. This event was a massive win for the Americans because it boosted their morale.

    Green Mountain boys fort Ticonderoga

    The Green Mountain Boys and Benedict Arnold sieged Fort Ticonderoga to get the Americans another win. Not one person died.

    This was a major win for the colonist and know as a changing point in the war.

    The colonists were using valley forge as a way to be able to watch any move that the british did and to be able to train their soldiers

    This was when the colonist setup way for winning the war and when the treaty of paris was signed after surrendering a british general and his entire army. They won by blocking the british in by having the french on the water and Washington and lafeyette on land bombarding them with cannons.

    This was when the british gathered in yorktown because of its resources and George washington Lafeyette and the french surrounded it. They ended up winning and making the states have freedom.
