Boston Tea Party
-
Period: to
Occupy Wall Street
This was a protest that happened in New York that then spread to cities all across the US. The people protested against how poor and wealthy people had lived in different ways and were treated differently by other people. They also fought against the way corporations used their money. The Boston Tea Party and this are very similar because The Tea Party was protesting against a private corporation as in the East India Trading Company, which the OWS targeted big banks like Goldman.
