Increase pay in Lawmakers
Lawmakers getting a 17% pay raise just by summer. Washington's Citizens Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials agreed to boost the base pay and to also provide a cost of living adjustment by 2% each year. Many people do not agree to this because they state it's like ̈handing out salary bonuses is like candy today ̈. Townshend Act is similar, they would have to pay for the salary of the governors and judges which is making an increase in taxes because it how they would fund it.
