King George III became more hated because of increased taxing. This is when “No taxation without representation” was formed. He was determined to make America obedient. They would go to jail for treason if they didn’t pay the taxes. Issued the Intolerable Acts. -

This is the day that Slavery was deemed illegal, which came after the Civial War.
