French Indian War
The French and Indian War began because English Colonists ran out of land and wanted to move west, around that time the French and English both claimed the Ohio River Valley. The French, and Native Americans were upset that the English colonists moved onto their land. After the war, a lot of money was owed to they soldiers,and Britain gained control of the Ohio Valley,and other land the French claimed. -

The Proclamation of 1763 was forced because British leaders feared that more fighting would take place on the frontier if colonists kept moving onto American Indian lands eventually this law banned British settlements west of Appalachian mountains. -

The Sugar act because George Grenville believed that the colonists were smuggling goods into the country, and British nearly doubled their national debt. After the act was passed they placed duties on certain imports. -

This massacre occurred because Bostonians did not like the presence of British troops, then a British soldier had an argument with a colonist, and a crowd broke out killing 5 men. -

They were a shadow government organized by the Patriot leaders. They wanted to establish a political union among the 13 colonies. Within a year everyone had joined the network, and more committees were formed. -

The Tea Act's main purpose was to bail out the East India Company. This eventually made colonists board East India Company ships, and dump their loads of tea overboard. -

The militia had stored military supplies at Concord. The Minuteman gathered at Lexington,and then Concord to stop the British from taking their military supplies. After that, blood was spilled,and the minutemen successfully defended their weapons -
