A war between the French and the British. The Indians are on the French side.This war was for land that the British wanted. -
Proclamation of 1763
This was put in place to not allow the colonists go west of the Mppalachain Mountains. This was put in place by the British. The reason that the colonists could not go west of the Appalachain Mountains was because the King wanted to keep good trade relations with the Indians. -
Stamp Act
the Stamp Act was to put a tax on the colonists for paper goods. The British felt that they had to put this act in place because they needed to make back their debt from the French and Indian War. -
Sons and Daughters of Liberty
The Sons of Liberty protested against taxation of the British government with force by threats. The Daughters of Liberty made the Spinning Bees. They made there own thread and did not buy it from the British. -
Stamp Act Congress
The Stamp Act Congress was a protest against the new British taxes.The congress met in the Federal Hall. -
Tea Act
The Boston Tea Party was when the patriots dumped tea in the harbor in fear of losing the colonists to boycott.
