French and Indian War
This was a war between the French and the British. Different Native tribes joined different side. Though the war didn't exactly begin well for the British, they won. This resulted in The Treaty of Paris. -
Peace Treaty Signed ending the American Revolution recognizing US independence.
The Treaty of Paris was singed. The Europeans recognized America as an independent country therefore resulting in the United States of America. -
Sugar Act
The Sugar Act of 1764 was a modified version of a previous Molasses Act of 1733. The Molasses Act was fixing to expire, so Parliament issued the Sugar Act to keep gaining money. -

This made it to were American colonists had to pay taxes for EVERY piece of printed paper. -

The Boston Massacre was the result of a riot on King Street. A group of men started a riot, and the British fired at the men resulting in many deaths. -

The Tea Act was put in place by parliament to help the British East India Company from dying in it's London warehouse. Also to help gain profit from the colonies. -

Parliament closed the Boston Port until the colonists paid for almost $1 million dollars of today's money in tea. -

Battle of Ticonderoga
Benedict Arnold of Massachusetts, Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys joined forces for a dawn attack. They captured the sleeping Brits and won over the Fort of Ticonderoga. -
Battle of bunker Hill
The British won this battle in Massachusetts. Even though the Americans lost they inflicted battle wounds/casualties on the British. -
George Washington is Named Commander in Chief
Washington was named Commander in Chief because of other military experience, and because they hoped that a leader from Virginia could bring the colonies together. -

Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense. Which was a book that called the Americans to break away from the British rule. -

Cornwallis surrenders Yorktown to general Washington after the battle of Yorktown
