The Treaty of Paris 1763 ended the war between Great Britain and France. In terms of the treaty France gave up all of their territory in North America to Great Britain. -

To stop future problems between the Native Americans and the colonists, England said the colonists could no longer settle west of the Appalachian Mountains. -

The Stamp Act was an act passed by the British Parliment that made colonists pay a tax on every single printed paper they used. -
Townshend Act
The Townshend Act was passed by the British Parliment and it made colonists pay a tax for glass, lead, paints, paper and tea imported into the colonies. -

The Boston Massacre was a street fight between the colonists and British soldiers. The colonists started a mob because they were upset about the taxes. Many colonists were killed during this fight. -

The Tea Act was passed by the British Parliment. This act said the colonists could no longer buy tea from any other country, they could only get their tea from Great Britain. The act also put a tax on the British tea. -
Boston Tea party
The Boston Tea Party was a protest against the Tea Act. It consisted of colonists led by Samuel Adams, dressing up as Native Americans and dumping 342 crates of tea into the Boston Harbor. -

The Intolerable Acts were a set of laws that Great Britain passed to punish Boston for the Tea Party protest. -

Wahsington and his troops camped here. It was a rough time because it was very cold and they had little food. Even though they were having issues Washington stayed by his troops side and earned loyalty and trust from his soldiers. -
Battle of Yorktown
This was the last battle pof the American Revolution. The American and French troops surrounded and defeated the British. -
Treaty of Paris 1783
This treaty ended the war and America gained it's independence from England.
