This act had allowed the direct shipment of tea to the colonies rather then shipping the tea to Britain first. -

The representatives of the states meet up to discuss problems in Massachusetts with Britain. -

These acts were used as a punishment on Massachusetts for the Boston tea party, used to try and coerce the America’s to obey. -

The battle between the americas and Britain begins ad Lexington and Concord where the first shots were fired in the war. -

After the first shots were fired at Lexington and Concord, the congress meet up to institute a continental army -
Declaration for independence adopted
The date that the American officially declared independence from Britain, proving they wish to be free from Britain. -
Battle of Saratoga
This was the first focal point in the war, were the Americans had won over Britain. -

During the winter of 1777-1778 Washington’s troops were slowly dieting from the cold and sickness, while he held steadfast along with his troops. -
Battle of Yorktown
In this battle the French helped in the navel battle eventually ending in Britain’s defeat and being the point where Britain’s efforts became useless. -
U.S. Constitution written
During the summer George Washington , James Madison, Benjamin Franklin and others, had written the U.S. constitution which this base has worked for over 200 years with more to come. -
U.S. Constitution adopted
Finally all the states ratified the constitution and the United States of America is born, becoming a new nation.
