    As Britain approached Fort Duquesne to claim it, colonial soldiers warned the commander( General Bradrock) that they will be ambushed, but the commander didn't listen. They were ambushed by France and its Native allies and half of British men were killed. This was a setback that Britain had to endure.

    Britain banned colony settlements west of Appalachian mountains with the intention to prevent war coming. This angered colonists and they rebelled against the proclamation. It also caused colonies to unite.

    After the war, Britain was in debt so they decided to pay it off by taxing the colonists without acknowledging the colonists say on it. One of the first one was the sugar Act. The sugar Act taxed molasses and made consequences for smuggling more strict.

    To raise more money, Britain puts taxes on paper products and documents without acknowledging colonists. This caused the start of protests among the colonists against all these taxes. Colonists began to indulge in petitions to the king, and boycotting products.

    To save money on soldiers, Britain passed a rule that colonists and citizens must house, feed, and supply British soldiers. Again without acknowledging colonists opinion which is angering them.

    Britain puts taxes on everyday essentials like tea, paper, lead, glass, and paper.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    A crowd of colonists were yelling and throwing things at the line of British soldiers. A soldier fell from a thrown object and his gun went off causing the rest of the soldiers to shoot at the unarmed crowd of colonists. This made colonists create groups called Committees of Correspondence to discuss Britains actions.

    Britain allowed East Indian British Company to sell their tea directly to colonies at a low price plus tax.
