Lexington & Concord
The Massachusetts colony forms a militia unit. They were mostly called minutemen. General Gage hears that 2 leaders of the sons of liberty John Hancock,Samuel Adams were meeting at the village of Lexington Gage also heard that Minutemen were storing guns in Concord So the general sent 700 british soldiers to capture Hancock and Adams and to get the weapons Paul Revere warns Hancock and Adams aand the first battle happens. -
