    These battles had the purpose of taking the weapons from the colonists to make them stop fighting against them. The colonists found out about this making them move there weapons to Concord and they were there ready to fight.

    The British wanted the south because that's where most loyalists were. The British won every battle there and had a major victory.

    This battle made the British surrender because they realized they did not have the money to continue fighting. Washington had the town surrounded. The British signed the Treaty of Paris saying America is now a free country.
