Parliament thought that colonists should help pay for the French and Indian war, colonists were taxed on lots of things not just sugar, they thought that this was unfair and understandably did not want to pay these taxes

this forced colonists to provide housing to soldiers. They had to provide not only housing but also food, water, and any other supplies to British soldiers. Colonists didn't have a choice either, they had to give up their homes and provide things to soldiers

the purpose of this was to raise money for soldiers. Almost everything that was paper had a stamp on it that meant that the tax was paid. People didn't like this so they started protesting. Stamps were placed on any legal doccuments, advertisments, or anything else printed

British soldiers marched on to Concord, and were shot by minutemen. The minutemen hid, and fired from behind stone walls. The british soldiers didn't know how to fight this way so a lot of them died -

This was a hard battle because it was so cold and brutal. But Washington had a plan to capture Trenton and defeat the Hessians. They marched nine miles in order to reach Trenton before the morning. The Hessians were caught off guard, so Washington won. -

This battle was easy for the Americans to win so it greatly increased their morale and confidence. It also strengthened Washington as the commander of the army. It was the biggest and longest one day battle of the war overall -
Battle of Yorktown
Because George Washington knew the area well he was able to surround the British Troops, they were joined by french soldiers whose navy sailed into Chesapeake bay. In the end the British surrendered, this was the last major battle of the American Revolution -
Treaty of Paris
By signing this treaty, the American revolution was officially over. This treaty was signed in Paris by Americans and Britans. This was basically a list of terms and agreements that they had worked out together and come to a conclusion on. Them signing it meant that they promised to follow it and stop fighting
