French and Indian War
The French and Indian war was a series of battles fought between France and England. Battles of the war include. Fort Duquesne, which was the first conflict and where the war was declared. The war ended in 1763 with a British victory. This resulted in France losing a lot of land to North America. The war lasted from 1754-1763. -
Treaty of 1763
The Treaty of 1763 is what ended the French and Indian War. The treaty stated that the fridge would give up all rights to Canada and gave Louisiana to Spain, and British got Spanish Florida, as well as Upper Canada and other various French Holdings. This ended any military threat that could have come from the French, which made the British have more land and ultimately safer. -

Boston Tea Party
This was a protest led by the Sons of Liberty located in Boston. They represented “no taxation without representation” And they dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor. This tea was imported by the British East India company. -
Intolerable act
After the Boston Tea Party, the colonists were punished with a set of rules they had to follow, and these were called The Intolerable Acts. These rules and included Boston Port act, administration of justice act, Quartering Act, and the Quebec Act -

This was originally published on July 4th 1776. This document's purpose was to explain why the colonies separated themselves from Great Britain. The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the second continental congress in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. -

And this treaty, the US was given Independence, as well as significant amount of Western territory by establishing new borders for the Nations as a whole. This declared Americans win and British defeat officially in writing, which caused the US to be rewarded land and freedom.
