    Salutary Neglect
    Saultary Neglect contributed to the Revolutionary War by loosening its reins on british control. By loosening control on the colonists that encouraged them to form their own government.

    This war ended up with Britain taking over French Canada. This event strenghtened the British, but also made it easier for colonists to rebel. Without the French the only army they had to face was the British. This gave the colonies more confidence to rebel which leads to the Revolutionary War.

    This event banned the colonists of going west of the Appalachians. This did not stop the colonists, and they were not persecuted for breaking it. This gave colonists reason to believe the British had little control over them, and reason to think they had a good chance of taking over.

    This act actually sparked protests in the colonies. This led to the Revolutionary War because it was so outrageous, and pulled so much money out of every single colonists pocket. The colonists were completely outraged. New York, Boston, and Philidelphia were all so angry that they refused to import any goods from Britain until the act was repealed. This strengthened the Colonies, and showed them how much power they had over Britain.

    The Declaration of Rights and Grievances granted a way for Colonists to measle their way in to helping govern the Colonies. This made it easier for the Colonists to learn the ways of government which was needed when they decided they wanted to run it independently. This helped aid towards the Revolution with the Colonists gaining governmental control.

    "Taxation without Representation" These acts led to boycotts, organized rebellion, and protesting. This was another one of the major events that frustrated the colonists. This led to the Revolutionary War because it enraged the colonists, and made them power hungry.

    This was viewed as a "British attack on defenseless citizens." This showed that the colonists and British were in fact not a team, or on the same side. This sparked a distict dividion in society British against Colonists.

    The Colonies did not have to pay taxes on the tea but, they still expected the Colonists to pay taxes on it. This was unfair, and led the colonists to become outraged. Any anger against the British will lead to the Revolution.

    18,000 pounds of tea were dumped in to the Boston Harbor. This enraged the British, and tightened the rivalry against the colonsts. When the rivarlry gets to be enough is when the war breaks out.

    The Quartering Act pushed the colonists over the edge. They were forced to let British soldiers in to their homes, feed them, and house them for no pay. This was a part of the Intolerable Acts that really made the colonists mad. This was one of the key events that got the colonists fed up, and gave reason for the American Revolution.

    The Continental Congress was the group of men who told colonists for the first time to start fighting back. This group is the begining of specualtion for the Revolutionary War.

    This book bashed on King George III. It was written proof of the colonists separating from the British. It gave inspiration to create a equal, and good society.

    Mercantilism was a great influencing factor to the Revolutionary War. In order to have a self sufficient government you do not want to give portions of your earnings to another country. Wanting to keep all that they have earned encouraged them to separate from the British government.
