Taxation without Representation started in 1764-1770. It starts with the sugar act. The Sugar Act is when the king started taxing people for sugar without their consists. Next was the Stamp Act which is a tax that you have to pay when you get newspapers, almanacs, pamphlets, all kinds of documents, insurance policies, licences, and even playing cards. -
The Boston Mascacre
5 people died in from the Boston massacre. The called it the Boston Massacre because they wanted to scare people. The British soldiers were trying to protect western lands and that angered many colonists. they decided to fight and not a lot happened. -
