He was born on January 1, 1735. He died on May 10, 1818. He was a silversmith, and a patriot in the American Revolution. He never truly fought in battles, but he is most famous for his "Midnight Ride". He warned people of the British trip to Concord. He helped save the weapons stash. -

He was born on June 4, 1738. He died on January 29, 1820. He was the king of Britian from 1760 until his death. He never fought a single battle. But he and his parliament taxed the colonies which helped lead to the start of the American Revolution. -

He was born on December 31, 1738. He died October 5, 1805. He was the leading general of the British army. He fought in several battles of the American Revolution. He surrendered to Washington at Yorktown, ending the war -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was a street fight between angered colonists and British soldiers. It took place on a Boston street corner. 5 colonists were killed, and 1 soldier was wounded. No one really knows who started the shooting. Many people say the British shot first, while some say the Colonists acted first. The massacre was a signal event to the American Revolution. -
Tea Act
The Tea act was another act to add to the long list of things that caused colonists to pay taxes. The British Parliament passed the act on May 10, 1773. The Tea act went along with the Townshed at, allowing Parliament to continue to tax the colonisits. It lead to the Boston Tea party. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was caused by the Sons of Liberty that dressed as Indians, and boarded one of the ships in the harbor that carried tea. They dumped every bit of it into the water. They destroyed over 92,000 pounds of tea. This was a pivital point befroe the revolution. Parliment responded back, by passing the Intolerable acts, one of which closed the harbor. -
Battle of Lexington and Concord
These were considered the first two battles of the American Revolution. They occured on April 19,1775 in Lexington and Concord Massachusetts. The British were deemed victorious, even though it proved to the colonists, that they had a chance to win the war. They were considered "The Shot heard 'round the world." -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on Jne 17,1775 in Massachusetts. The British yet again won another battle of the Revolution. Although the colonists lost, they caused great casualties to the British army. This battle gave them a confidence boost. -
Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson. It was sgned on July 4, 1776. This document stated that America was willing to follow British government if they took away the acts. The government didn't listen. This document started our journey to become a new country. -

George Washington crosssed the freezing Delaware river on the night of December 25, 1776. It was the first organized surprise attack on the British army during the Revolution. It lead to the battle of Trenton, which the Americans won. It was a pivital point in the war. -

The battle of Trenton took place the morning of December 26, 1776. The battle was in Trenton, New Jersey. It was a small, but impactful battle that was won by the Americans. Washington crossed the Delaware the night before to catch the British army off-guard. The victory boosted the army's morale. -

The Battles of Saratoga took place on September 19 and October 7, 1777. Saratoga is another city in New York. This battle was won by the Americans, and it added the final element for victory of the war. This battle was the decideing factor in France joining America in the war. -
Battle of Yorktown
The Battle of Yorktown, or Siege at Yorktown, or Surrender at Yorktown was fought on October 19, 1781. Yorktown was another battle in Virginia. The Americans, along with the French, forced Britishes forces to surrender, finally ending the war.
