John Proctor was one of the innocent people killed in the Salem
Witch Trials. Instead of confessing to witchcraft, he denied it and was hanged. He did not want to sacrifice his name for his life. -
A superior court is established for the Witch Trials
In November of 1692, The general court that was over the trials established a superior court to deal with the Witch Trials accusations. -

Benjamin Franklin was a great man with countless virtues. He was a flawless poltician. He wrote his autobiography, which is still read today; his legacy lives on. -

Amelia Earhart Disappears
Amelia Earhart was a great courageous woman who wanted to circumnavigate the world in a plane. She disappeared sometime in this year, and has since never been found. -
The Crucible was written
Arthur Miller wrote the Crucible in 1953. At this time, Communism was overrunningthe world with terror. He might have written this book to address this mass hysteria, and to show that it never leads anywhere good.
