    French and Indian War
    War started in 1754 and was a war fought between France and Engalnd. Both sides wanted the resources and land they were battling over. England wins in 1763 getting land west of Mississippi.     Allowed for military soilders from England to board and search ships to enforce navigation laws. This was so offensive to colonies, it lead to 4th admendement.     Used to pay back debt from French and Indian War. Required a stamp for nearly all printed material. Stamp would cost money to get. Colonies became even more angry and started to boycott.     Required that home owners to provide shelter for soilders when they said the needed shelter.
