" "Welcome," said the stranger in English. He was Samoset, a friend of Squanto and Chief Massasoit" (Ignitia.com Editors).

    This war broke out over claims to the Ohio River. The English and French colonies had many conflicts so in outcome was the French and Indian War. This war lasted from 1756 to 1763.

    This is what replaced the Second Continental Congress. It had a lot of weaknesses but somehow still worked and this was the new government.

    Nat Turner Revolt
    He was a plowman on a Virginia plantation. He led a group of 10 slaves on a revolt slaying, 60 white people, before being restrained by state and federal law. And was later executed with 13 slaves and 3 freedmen for being involved in the revolt.

    Originally the alliance was just Germany and Austria-Hungary which was called the dual alliance then Italy joined and then the Triple Alliance was formed. The Alliance was for if one country was attacked the other two would come and help defend that country.

    The Triple Entente was formed so that France, England, and Russia felt secure since there was a Triple Alliance. This Entente consisted of France, England, and Russia.

    This was constructed to regulate international relations, limit armaments, and settle disagreements between nations without causing war. Wilson said without these there will be a second world war.

    The peace meetings that were held in Paris had more than 30 countries that were being represented. Russia was the only allied country there that was not represented.
  • Pearl Harbour

    Pearl Harbour
    Japan bombed this naval base in Hawaii known as pearl harbor. At 8 am the Japanese dropped bombs and the people of the island woke up to black smoke everywhere.
