    The French and Indian War was ended due to the the Treaty of Paris in 1763. The war had lasted for 7 years.

    On march 22nd 1765 Goearge Greenville passed the stamp act. This act required the American colonist to pay a tax on any printed item.

    On may 3rd 1765 the quartering act was put in place by George Greenville. This act claimed that the American Colonist had to feed and house Britsh solidiers.

    The first contental congress was a group of 12 delagates from 13 colonies. The intolerable acts drove them to this meeting and they did it in secret so that Britain would not know about it.

    This battle took place on april 19, 1775. This battle was found as the first battle in the American Revolution. Due to everything that has happened in the colonies America wanted to gain freedom.

    Cornwallis was concered with the battle that was going to take place so on January 3 he tried to sneak up on Washington and men. Washington got away and 275 redcoats died throughout this battle.

    In 1778 the British realized that they were loosing the war, so they came up with a plan called the Southern Campaign. This plan basically was was try to capture all of the southern colonies.

    This was the most important battle in the American Revolution as Washington lead 17,000 troops to defeat the 9,000 troop British Army. Washington had completly surrounded the British troops with causlties and the french army.

    This congress met to detirmine what was wrong with the Articles of Confederation. In this convention they altered the Articles in order to grow stronger.

    On this day the first congress submitted 12 admendments to be ratified. Ten of these admendments were ratified and were named the bill of rights.
