Banning discrimination
President Roosevelt banned discrimination. Roosevelt signed into law Executive Order 8802, which prohibits racial discrimination. The order in which President Roosevelt signed included a "provision obliging contactors not to discriminate against any workers regardless of race, creed, color, or national origin." -
