The French and Indian War
The war between Great Britain and France. Both sides were supported by their mother countries and by the Native Americans. The Native Americans mostly sided with the French who had established good relations with them. The war funding caused Great Britain to go into a huge debt. This war opened up the Mississippi Valley for the Westward expansion. -

After the French and Indian War, the Proclamation of 1763 was enacted by the British. This Act reserved a big piece of land for Native Americans only. This Angered the colonists who wanted to migrate Westward in hope for prosperity. -

The constitution was written during the Philadelphia Convection from May 25 to September 17. The Constitution included the undeniable rights that citizens have in the United States of America. The U.S.A. Constitution was also signed in the same place the Declaration of Independence was signed. -

The Louisiana Purchase took place between the United States and the French. Here, Thomas Jefferson made a monumental deal with Napoleon Bonaparte. This deal nearly doubled the size the United States allowing the idea of Manifest Destiny an Westward Expansion to continue. -
