Columbus discovers the New World
Columbus started his voyage to the Americas on August 3, 1492. Then he took a quick stop at the Canary Islands and continued on September 6. His three ships were called the Nina, the Piñata and the Santa Maria. Finely the crew was ready to mutiny but Columbus said that if they waited two more days then they would turn back, they found land the next day. -
