Kemmerich dies

Mar 1, 1915

He is in the hospital with his leg amputated and is about to die.

Paul retruns home

Jan 1, 1916

Paul gets to go home on his leave, even though he is at home he feel like he doesnt belong.

Sleeping in the Graveyard

Apr 14, 1916

Paul and his friends have to sleep in the graveyard so they take the dead bodies out of the coffin and sleep in the coffins.

Paul joins the German Army

He joins because Kemmrich encourages them to.

Paul kills French Soilder

May 9, 1917

Paul goes to spy in No Mans land, he gets lost and a French soilder is with him, Paul stabs him.

Paul inhales the gas poison

Apr 9, 1918

During battle Paul inhales the gas poison and is sent home for two weeks.
Quote- "Those are the dangerous moments. They show us that the adjustment is only artificial, that it is not simple rest, but sharpest struggle for rest."

Paul and Kat

Jun 10, 1918

Kat is shot in the shin and Paul tries to carry him to safety, when they reach the triage, Paul relizes that Kat has a splinter in his head, Kat dies.
Quote- "You might have spared that effort."

Paul dies

Oct 9, 1918

Paul is killed.
Quote- "All Quiet On the Western Front"

War Ends

The war is finally over and the soilders get to go home.
