This would not end well for them as Alexander besieges the the city and razes it to the ground. the inhabitants were executed or sold into slavery, this showing that Alexander is very powerful and has as much power as his father. -

Alexander sets out to conquer Persia, however he has no money to supply his troops, so Alexander borrows money and sets hist troops out to fight against the Persians. As the savage fighting goes on, Persia finally retreats and Alexander can now add Persia to his Empire. -

In Gordian, Alexander had solved a puzzle. According to legend, he solved the puzzle of the Gordian knot. the Legend was whoever could solve the puzzle would rule all of Asia. -

Alexander leads his army into battle against Darius and his army. With Alexanders army overwhelming Darius'. Darius orders his men to retreat and the Macedonians and Alexander are victorious. As they move along conquering one Persian city after another, Alexander conquers Babylon and takes treasure to distribute among his men. Also adopting Persian officials to hold his empire together. -

Alexander kills Cleitus
Alexander gets drunk at a banquet and gets into an argument with his good friend Cleitus. As the argument continued, Alexander accidentally stabs and kills Cleitus. However this is a turning point for Alexander. The stabbing of Cleitus makes his officers fear him. -

Alexander marries Roxane, daughter of Prince Oxyartes
After conquering eastern Iran and capturing prince Oxyartes, Alexander marries Roxane, the prince's daughter. This is an act of political alliance. -

Alexander gets more territory
Wanting to add more land to his empire, Alexander and his troops cross the Hindu Kush into northern India and defeat King Porus. Gaining all this land, Alexander wanted to continue further and conquer more land. However his troops refused to go any further and Alexander was forced to return to Babylon. -
