Because of tensions and warfare and command alexander becomes drunk one fall, he gets into an argument with Cletius ( the man that saved his life in the battle of Granicus ) and accidentally stabs him with a spear , Alexander is filled with remorse from Cletius's death, next year in the summer Alexander's men begin to fear him.

After dominating Persia Egypt Mesopotamia and the Indus river valley alexander still wanted to go on , he wanted to conquer all the known land , but his army grew tried they refused to go any longer and alexander was forced to make there way back to Greece.

After alexander's men are tired of fighting they turn back from there 11,000 mile journey and head home to Greece, on the way back home alexander becomes ill
