This was the first document to govern the Plymouth colony written by the men aboard the ship. -

This was an act of the Parliament of England passed as a restatement in statutory form of the Declaration of Right. -

The war was between the colonies of British America and New France, with both of them supported by military units from their mother countries of Great Britain and France. In the same year, the war became a world-wide conflict. -

A tax set on stamps by the british on the colonists, an unfair anount that really caused uproar in the clolonies. -

This was when the people of Boston dressed as natives and protessed the tea tax by throwing all the tea from an Enlish ship into the Boston Harbor. -

This was the meeting of deligates from the 13 colenies to adress important topics. -

These were two battles fought durring the Revolutionary War -

The second meeting was durring the Revolutionary war and topics were about the war as well as the plans in place. -

The written statement by the representitives of the 13 colenies in behalf of the freedom from Great Britan. it was signed by 56 men in support of the document. -
Shay's Rebellion
This was an armed uprizing in Massachusetts, trying to overthow government and reform the state. -
3/5 Compromise
This was a compromise between the nothern and southern states at the Philadelphia Convention where 3/5s of the slaves would be counted for representation in voting and taxing. -
Constitutional Convention
This was to adress problems in the governing of the United States. it lasted 4 months and was intennded to revise the Articals of Confederation. -

This was a proposal by Virginia delegates for a bicameral legislative branch. It was written by James Madison -

This was an agreement between the large and small states about the legislative structure and represntation of the states. -

Commerce/Slave Trade Compromise
Slave trade would go on for 20 years after the Constitution went into effect. When the 20 years were up, the government would be allowed to end the bringing in of slaves to the Unites States by slave traders. -

The Bill Of Rights is the first 10 Amandements of the US constitution. -
Rhode Island Ratifies
This was the ratification of the constitution in Rhode island. they now elect officals to the confence. -
Peace Treaty with Great Britain
Also Known as the Treaty of Paris, it ended the Revolutionary War wirh the compromise between the US and great Britain, and the Freedom of the colonies
