  • Proclamation of 1763

    Proclamation of 1763
    The proclamation was a issued at the end of the French and Indian War to give the Native Americans some of their land back which gave the colonists a border they weren't allowed to cross the Proclamation line.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The Sugar act was an act passed by parliament to put taxes on foreign good such as sugar, wine, coffee, and other things. This also blocked the direct shipment of these items to the colonists.
  • Currency Act

    Currency Act
    The Colonists had to come up with their own currency because unlike Great Britain Colonists had no minds for gold nor sliver so they made paper money. Then Parliament passes the Currency Act which gave them the control over the Colonist Currency and they Abolishes the money they were using.
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was past by Parliament to tax just about everything from Playing cards to documents. Everything that was taxed was to have a stamp on it.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    This was an Act that enforced the the colonists provide accommodations for the British Soldiers even if that met that they had to live in the houses of the Colonists
  • Declaratory Act

    Declaratory Act
    The day that the Stamp Act was repealed the parliament passed the Declaratory Act letting the Colonists know that they still had complete power over them and that they were not letting them go yet.
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    This again was an Act to tax the colonists on just about everything that would be imported from Great Britain which farther made the Colonists detest buying anything from them.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    This happened when Great Britain sent over Solders to enforce tax laws on the colonist. The Massacre started as a small brawl when a group of colonist found a lone soldier and it escalated from there.
  • Bostan Tea Party

    Bostan Tea Party
    This was a protest against the tax on tea many colonists one night snuck on a ship and threw chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.
  • Intolerable Act (Coercive Acts)

    Intolerable Act (Coercive Acts)
    The Coercive Act were acts passed by Parliament to deal with the colonist they included four brutal punishments which is why they Colonists called it the Intolerable Act.
  • Quartering Act

    Quartering Act
    This was a little different instead of the soldiers having barricades to stay in they would now be staying in towns and cities close to everyone and the colonists did not like this because they considered them foreign.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    This dealt more with the Canadians when the French and Indian war was over Britain obtained some land and in order to keep French Canadians loyal to the British crown they made it a thing that they had to have a certain religion the Roman Catholic Faith.
