Hernando Cortez

Hernando Cortez set sail to Mexico on Feb 18 1519.On November 8, 1519, he fought with the Aztecs and eventually burned Motecuhzoma.After many battles, 2/3 of the Spaniards died(mostly because they did not want to let go of their gold and drowned).The Aztecs were finally defeated in Aug 13, 1521.

Ferdinand Magellan

Magellan sailed from Sevilla on 1519 and by 1520, he was exploring the coast of Patagonia.When he reached the Pacific ocean, He named the ocean the Pacific ocean. He died on April 27, 1521, his men still continued yhe voyage around the world until arriving back at Spain, September 6, 1522.

Francisco Pizarro and Diego de Almagro

Francisco Pizarro and Diego de Almagro set sail on Jan, 1931,although, Diego stayed in Panama,getting more supplies and men.Pizarro plunderd small villages util he reached the Inca city in November 15, 1532.He captured Atahuallpa and held him for ransom for a room filled with gold. Cortez executed Atahuallpa due to fear of an Inca attack.
