Emmett was visiting his family in Money, Mississippi and he flirted with a white cashier. 4 days later he was kidnapped by two whit men. They beat him to death. The two men were tried for murder but got off by an all white jury. -

Was created for the killings of black people just because their a different color. Black people get judged just bcause their skin isnt the same color as white people so white people think they are always the ones doing wrong. It goes way beyond the extrajudicial killings by the police and vigiliates.
