    Slavery began when slaves were brought in a Dutch ship to the shores of the British colony of Jamestown, Virginia. They were brought to help with the production of cash crops such as tobacco. Later they were used for the cotton gin.

    Emmett was visiting his family in Money, Mississippi and he flirted with a white cashier. 4 days later he was kidnapped by two whit men. They beat him to death. The two men were tried for murder but got off by an all white jury.

    James Earl Ray was a know racist and a small-time criminal. Ray plotted Kings death. He shot and killed him. Then he confessed to it late in March.

    Was created for the killings of black people just because their a different color. Black people get judged just bcause their skin isnt the same color as white people so white people think they are always the ones doing wrong. It goes way beyond the extrajudicial killings by the police and vigiliates.
