    Pontiac's Rebellion
    Indians were tired of settlers taking their land so they decided to fight back. They started attacking forts and settlers to try and drive them off their land. This ended up making Indians and settlers hate each other and eventually led to the British establishing the Proclamation Line of 1763.     The British proposed the Proclamation Line of 1763 after Pontiac's Rebellion to try and keep peace between the Indians and the settlers. This proclamation drew a line the settlers could not cross. Many settlers did not like this as they were not able to travel west and tensions with Indians and settlers grew even more.     Due to the 1790 Naturalization Act settlers explored for new land and eventually ran into Indians in Ohio. Settlers were interested in going west and taking anything they felt would belong to them.The Western Confederacy won the battle with the Indians and gave up their claim to Ohio.
