It occupied the area that is now Ghana.The Asante kingdom needed to be unfied, so their military leader Osei Tutu, won control of several trading kingdoms around the Asante kingdom. Tutu was chosen by merit instead of birthright.Tutu claims that the people in the kingdom were linked by spiritual bonds. -

Arkwrights water frame was a water powered device created by Richard Arkwright. The device produced cotton yarn. He got help from many of his friends. Together they opened many factories. After a few years Arkwright was operating many cotton yarn production factories. -
