    Mood Rings
    Joshua Reynolds and Maris Ambats created the mood ring in 1975. The purpose of the mood ring was to detect the humans emotions through body temperature. Now this wasn't the most accurate way to measure emotions however it was a great start to finding new ways to detect and interpret emotions.
  • Rosalind Picard

    Rosalind Picard
    The beginning of Affective Computing. Rosalind Picard is an American scholar and founder of the Affective computing research group at MIT media Lab. In 1995 she proposed the idea that emotions should be explored with new perspectives which have not been previously mentioned. To Sum up her ideas she decided on the name "Affective Computing".

    Emotient is a firm that analyzes facial expressions to identify people's emotions using artificial intelligence technologies. This tool became popular in the business setting. Advertisers were able to use this technology to detect peoples emotional responses to the new presented product.

    I think that the future will bring big improvements in the car industry. We already have self driving cars but I think that will become the new norm in the next 10-15 years. Especially with gas prices becoming pricier it only makes sense for people to switch to electric cars. With that I think that these electric cars will be even fancier and have more and more options.
