4000 BC- Rocks as tools
In 4000 BC you saw the first tools being mad out of rock with the advancement of technology. The rocks were being sharpened into tools and this advancement separated humans from other animals. -

1200 BC- Bow
In 1200 BC the first Bow and arrow was created. This technological advancement played a very important role in our ability to hunt food. Technology was not growing at near as fast of a rate back then as it is now. -

1400- Printing Press
Guhtenberg created the Printing Press during this time period. The invention of the Printing Press changed the way that information was received. The Printing Press made communicating with others much easier. -
Car
In 1939 GM introduced the first self driving car. Obviously with self driving cars a lot of questions are raised about the safety of the passengers and others -
1961- Robot
In 1961 Unimate came out with the first industrial robot. This robot started to replace some of the workers at GM. This is an early example of robots already starting to take our jobs in the work place. -
2010- Siri
In 2010 Apple came out with the invention of Siri. Siri is like a personal assistant in our phones that we talk to and she listens/does things for us. She is programmed to respond to our questions and help us in the best way she knows how.
