After attempting to overthrow the German government, Hitler was thrown into jail. While in prison, Hitler wrote the first volume Mein Kampf (My Struggle). This book contained his future plans for Germany and how he would overcome the political obstacles that he may face.

The Enabling Act was passed and for four years, Hitler had the right to create laws without consulting or gathering permission from Reichstag. -
Hitler Becomes Chancellor!
After the death of the current president, Paul Von Hindenburg, Hitler- being next in line- is immediately awarded with presidency. From there, he abolishes presidency and instead puts the dependence on the chancellor.
