Nowadays the refugge problem has become a worldwide issue.However it could be solved.The beginning of our solution is to integrate as many as possible in our community.Kozani could become the ideal home for about 4.000 refugees which is a good amount of people in proportion to the city's population which is around 50.000 people. -

Finding accomodation for such a large number of people will definitely be a challenge.One alternative is to built a camp just outside the city where refugees will live in small portokabins.Furthermore the city of kozani has many villages that are ful of abandoned houses which coudl be renovated into homes for refugee families.The essential money for such infrastructures can be provided by organisations just like Solidarity Now, UNHCR, the UN's refugee agency and many more. -
The kind of entrepreneurship that can be developed
After finding accomodation for them it is essential to find them a job.The first employment that comes to mind for refugees is cultivating saffron.It's the most famous product of Kozani and there are plenty of job oppurtunities for them in this field.They could become members of producing companies and provide the manpower that is necessary. -
The ways your school can help
Of course one of our main concerns should be the education of the refugee children.Our school could provide greek language lesson for the little refugees.Since in the morning the school is full we could create an afternoon school thta will be for the refugees only.That way the children will learn at their own pace. -

It is certain that the arrival of the refugees will bring panic to the whole city.However their integration in our community will definitely be profitable.They will provide the manpower that is necessary in the city's entrepreneurships.Furthermore they will purchace products from our local shops which will enhance the local economy.Overall integrating refugees in our community is a good way to ipmrove our city in many aspects.
