In 1789, Napoleon scrapped any feudal properties from France, while the national assembly outright removed the Feudal system entirely. This was a good achievement by Napoleon as the feudal system was becoming outdated and did not work well for many French citizens before the Coup took place. -

After defeating a large group of counter-revolutionary fighters, Napoleon was respected and looked up upon by the government. They gave him the role of the Commander of the Army of the interior, which was a military accomplishment because of the power he gained and the potential he had be given in the military. -
Napoleon expands the French border-Military
Napoleon received 30,000 malnourished soldiers from the client nation of France, Italy. Napoleon was quick to the task of preparing and helping these men in order to quickly repair them for battle. He was able to fix them up swiftly, and shortly after he and the soldiers took, Austria and greatly expanded the French border. This was a great military accomplishment as it expanded France greatly and provided more land and property for France to work with. -

Napoleon stages a Coup-Political Success
One of Napoleon's most important political accomplishes was also one his firsts. Napoleon along with the Jacobins staged a Coup to overthrow the government as civil unrest had continued in France. Napoleon's Coup was very successful and it resulted in a new constitution being fabricated in the form of a Consulate government, governed by three consuls. -
Banque de France-Economic
In the early 1800's Napoleon founded the Banque de France to help rebuild the economy after the strong recession. This was big for the economy as it had been previously suffering from before his reign. The rich weren't paying anything and the poor were getting poorer. France itself as a country was broke because of war fees. Napoleon founded the Banque de France was one of his important steps to rebuilding the French Economy. -
Napoleon makes peace with the Catholic Church (Concordat of 1801)-Social
In July of 1801, Napoleon made peace with the Roman Catholic Church after the French Revolution had torn apart their relationship with them. This was a great social reform as he reversed radical religious policies and helped bring harmony and stabilize the French social system. -
Strengthening the Central Government-Social
In 1802, Napoleon Bonaparte needed to continue with his objective to bring stability to France, he needed to get everyone back in order after the Coup. So along with the Code Napoleon that would be placed into order in the next couple years, Napoleon also strengthened the Central Government. This would slightly restrict some of the liberties of the people, but it was a sacrifice made to bring order to France. This was one of Napoleon's best social accomplishments. -

In 1802, Napoleon was elected Consul for life. This was an important political success, as it granted him power for life, and two years later, Napoleon actually managed to climb in power and was able to crown himself the emperor of France. -
Napoleon expands trade routes-economic
In order to rebuild a broken economy Napoleon had to open up many new trade routes, and expand where France gives and receives goods. He did this by opening up more canals and roads for travel and allowing shipments throughout his Empire. This was a great economic success as it rebuilt France's economy and allowed France to obtain more money, which they were lacking heavily in since the war debts from helping America. -

When Napoleon had overthrown the government with the success of the coup and started a consulate government. The government and Napoleon decided to create a uniform set of laws for everyone in the country, so he created to Napoleonic Code, a uniform set of laws that all social classes must follow. This was a great social reform as it brought real order to the chaos that France had before and during the Coup. -
Napoleon crowns himself Emperor of France-Political
In 1804, after five years of serving as consul and two years after being consul for life, Napoleon was crowned Emperor of France by the pope. Napoleon was able to obtain this rank in France due to his huge and rising popularity. He had obtained a very respected rank by the people in France because he brought order when they needed it most, and he had many accomplishments under his belt at the time like the creation of the Napoleonic Code. -
The Battle of Austerlitz-Military
In 1805, Napoleon took on the Third Coalition in the Battle of Austerlitz. This was a crucial battle for Napoleon as it was one of the battles of the three emperors. If Napoleon had lost, he would look weak and he would surely be attacked again in a weakened state. Fortunately for Napoleon the battle was a success, and he defeated almost 90,000 Russians while only having 68,000 troops. -

Napoleon made many countless achievements throughout his reign in his life. he helped his country rebuild socially and economically, he expanding his armies and territory through his great military expertise and power, and he rose high in the ranks of power politically. He was a great leader who was not afraid to take actions and risks as he had a remarkable amount of confidence. He fixed a broken and divided France and brought them back into order, he reigned well, but no leader leads forever.
