Abraham was born in Mesopotamia where he grew up. He was also the patriarch of the Israelites.

God's Promise

2091 BCE

God promised Abraham: That Abraham will have a child, h will bless him and those around him and that he will make the nation great again (bible references- 12:1)

2065 BCE

One of God's promises was that Sarah would have a child after years of her not being able to have one. Abraham was 101 years old and Sarah was 91 years old when this promise was made

Abraham's name was originally Abram, but it was changed by God when Abraham was 99 years old.

God commanded Abraham to take his only son and sacrifice him on a mountain where it will snow, just like people did with sheep. There is no precise age for either Isaac or Abraham.

I learnt that because of my religion as a christian, i will be tested by society and God all the time. But if you believe and trust in him, there is a plan for you.
One of the biggest promises Abraham got from God was that one day he would be able to have a child. Because Sarah (his wife) was unable to have a child most of her life.
To have faith in God and to trust what plans he has for you. That God is always there and keeps all of his promises
