    Abraham was born to Thomas Lincoln and Nancy Hanks Lincoln in a log cabin.He had a brother and sister. Though the younger brother died in infancy. His sister died in childbirth in 1828. His life was hard. Abe's mother died when he was ten years old. Later him and his father moved out of Indiana. While he was there, he taught himself to read and write. He also gained the nickname Honest Abe. After he paied a woman five pennies after borrowing books.

    Lincoln marries Marry Todd. After thier wedding, they stay in a bording home, where later Robert Lincoln is born. Later they have 3 other boys. (Edward, William, and Thomas.)

    Lincoln had 4 kids. One of thier sons, Willie, died of bilious fever. The doctor suspected this fever from the White House drinking water, Thier other children were, from oldest to youngest, Robert, Edward, William (Willie), and Thomas. Thomas became a daddy's boy.

    John Wilks Booth sunk in Abraham's booth, and shot him when the loudest part of the play came. John was sure the gunfire would be muffled, though after the shot- Mrs. Lincoln screamed. Soilders rushed up and found Lincoln, leaning over on the edge of death. John Wilks Booth was injured while trying to run. He was killed in a barn when Union soilders surrounded him. Lincoln died the next morning.
