    French and Indian War
    It was the war fought between the colonies of the British Americas and France.It was the bloodiest American war in the 18th century. It was important because it ended with the treaty of Paris.
  • Stamp Act

    The new tax was imposed on all American colonists and required them to pay a tax on every piece of printed paper they used. The purpose of the tax was to help pay for troops stationed in North America after the British victory in the Seven Years' War. It was important because it in defining the grievances and enabling the organized colonial resistance that led to the American Revolution in 1775.

    It was the culmination of tensions in the American colonies that had been growing since Royal troops first appeared in Massachusetts in October 1768 to enforce the heavy tax burden imposed by the Townshend Acts. Its important becuase The Boston Massacre is remembered as a key event in helping to galvanize the colonial public to the Patriot cause.

    On the night of December 16, 1773, Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty boarded three ships in the Boston harbor and threw 342 chests of tea overboard. This resulted in the passage of the punitive Coercive Acts in 1774 and pushed the two sides closer to war. It is important becuase it was a political protest and it pushed the two sides closer to war.

    It was a series of laws passed by the British government. They were ment to puish the Massacusets colonist. It was important becuase after that even more colonist wanted to go and fight against Britian.
  • Lexington and Concord

    The British army is Searching for amnumitions and reble leaders, they dont find any. They spend the rest of the day getting shot at going back to Boston. It is important becuase it was first first military engagment of the American Revolutionanry war.
  • Decleration of Independence

    name of a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies,[2] then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as thirteen newly independent sovereign states, and no longer a part of the British Empire. It was important becuase it decreared them independence.

    American Forces met defeated and forced a major British army to surrendor. IIt was important because it renewed Patriots hopes for indepence.

    British army is trying to get to New York. The American army completley surrounds the British army around the sea. It is important becuase it was the most important battle in the revolutionary war.

    negotiated between the United States and Great Britain, ended the revolutionary war and recognized American independence. The Continental Congress named a five-member commission to negotiate a treaty–John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, and Henry Laurens. It is important because it englarged territories.

    The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America.[1] The Constitution, originally comprising seven articles, delineates the national frame of government. It was important because it gave people freedom.
  • Bill of Rights

    The colective name for the first ten ammentments of the United States constitution. Written by James Madison in response to calls from several states for greater constitutional protection for individual liberties, the Bill of Rights lists specific prohibitions on governmental power. It was important becuase it would place specific limits on government power.
