    Adam Taliaferro was tackled by an Ohio state player shattering his C5 vertabre becoming paralyzed from the neck down.
  • Spinal Cord Surgery

    Adam had spinal cord surgery to remove the pices of the shattered C5 vertabe and replace it with a metal disc. The doctors decided that the surgery could wait until Monday to do the surgery,
  • News Conference

    Two days after Adam spinal cord fusion surgery a press conference was held to update others about his condition. At this news conference his father Andre said that his son would one day walk again.
  • Prayer Vigil at Penn State

    Six days after the injury a prayer vigil was held at Penn State. Many people atteneded including students, coaches and players of Penn State.
  • Prayer Vigil in South Jersey

    Two days after the prayer vigil at Penn State one was held in Adam home town of South Jersey. It was held at Solid Rock Worship Center a churh the Taliaferro's attended.
  • Admitted to Magnee

    After having his surgery and recoverying from it Adam was transfered from a hospital to a rehabilitation center to help him regain motor functions.
  • Fan Letter

    On October 11 Adam recieved a letter from Christopher Reeve a quadriplegic after a horse riding accident in 1995. Adam recieved many letters while at the hospital.
  • News Conference at Magnee

    After being in the Magee rehabilitation center and regaining some motor functions there was a press conference. At this press conference Adam confirmed that he was getting better and could now move his arms and legs.
  • Basketball Game

    On December 15 Adam returened to Easteren High to watch a basketball game. Many people that he did and did not know came up to him an offered him words of encouragement and tell him that they believed in him.
  • Adam walks out of Magee

    Beating the odds of ever walking again Adam walked out of Magee rehabilitation hospital a little more than three months after becoming paralyzed.
