With one 180 roebucks Abraham Lincoln became United States percent well with 70 votes Johnson Beckenridge win. Abraham Lincoln was a republican while John C Beckonridge was a southern Democrat. Which means Beckenridge believed in slavery while Abraham Lincoln did not.
